Discover what goes into professional wedding photography with Brandon McKell. From preparation to editing, here’s how timeless wedding memories are created.
When you look at wedding photos, you see laughter, emotion, and beauty. But behind every image is a process — one that blends planning, patience, and artistry. As a wedding photographer, my mission is simple: to capture love stories in the most authentic and timeless way possible.

Step 1: Preparation
Great photos start long before the big day. I meet with couples to understand their story, their personalities, and the moments that matter most to them. We create a shot list together, but I also leave space for spontaneity — because some of the best memories are unplanned.
Step 2: The Wedding Day
On the day itself, my role is part documentarian, part artist. I capture the details — rings, dresses, flowers — but also the laughter, nerves, and quiet moments in between. My goal is to be present without being intrusive, blending into the background while preserving every emotion.
Step 3: Post-Production
The real magic begins in the editing suite. Each photo is carefully adjusted for light, tone, and color balance. My editing style is clean and timeless, so your images never feel over-processed. The end result: a collection of photos that feel natural, emotional, and unforgettable.
Every wedding is unique, but the heart of my work never changes: to give couples images that let them relive their story for a lifetime.
